Volkswagen to launch all new Passat in India by March 2011

The Volkswagen which is available in five variants is going to launch all the new version of its premium sedan Passat in the Indian market by March this year by their car maker European.

The variants are classified as Diesel Trendline, Diesel Highline, Petrol Trendline, Petrol Highline Manual Transmission.

 The new edition of Passat model will come loaded with advanced BlueMotion technologies as the company looks to adopt 'Think Blue' as a consistent approach in brand’s actions and communication.

Speaking to the reporters on Wednesday, Volkswagen Group Sales India's Director, Neeraj Garg said, "We will launch the all new edition of Passat in the Indian market by March 2011. It will be launched at the same time as the 'Think Blue' campaign is introduced in the country."

While further elaborating about the new ‘Think Blue’ approach, Mr. Garg said, "Building on one of the best-known environmental labels in the automobile industry, 'BlueMotion', Volkswagen is sending out a new signal for sustainable mobility.

"However, the company is yet to reveal the price figure of this upcoming edition of this Volkswagen Passat in the Indian market.
